How Does This Story End

Neon lights glow through the science of excited atoms. When electricity passes through a sealed tube of neon gas, electrons jump to higher energy levels. As they return, they release energy as vibrant light, creating dazzling displays in cities worldwide.

About the Exhibit

In late 2025, the window display for How Does This Story End was exhibited in Toronto’s Annex Neighbourhood at Wimpy Giant Press & Moon (872 Bathurst St.). Over a three-week period, gallery and bookstore visitors were invited to write and share their perspectives on the exhibit in terms of how they saw this story ending.

All story endings are collected and shared via this website (see the Story Endings page). Of interest is the themes arising from people’s creative rejoinders, ranging from the pigs having local musings on provincial premier Ford and the wisdom of the cross-town Light Rapid Transit to concerns around the three little pigs being able to cover their mortgage. And perspectives on the wolf ranged, from a pig-destroying super beast to a misunderstood wolf looking for pig friendship.
